ANNAWOOD BACK TO HER BEST

The Fort Wood filly, Annawood, will take another step in class when she tackles a strong Group 1 fillies championship race for 3 year olds at Greyville on Saturday.

The VIP filly is best over the extended trip and she will find the 2000m at Greyville to her liking. The Woolavington 2000 runner will be ridden by Richard Fourie and a big run is expected of the filly even though she is a rank outsider. 

At 33/1 she will surely shock the punting fraternity should she run the type of race expected, but it will be no surprise to her conditioner. Assistant trainer, Frank Robinson, representing the Herman Brown yard, mentions, "Annawood seems to be back to best, with a bit of luck with the draw she should be right there."
