HOT RECEPTION IN TOP FORM FOR SPRINT

VIP Thoroughbred's managed Hot Reception is in the form of her life but the South African Fillies Sprint will be step up in class for the talented filly. The filly lines up against South Africa's best fillies at Scottsville on Saturday and the line up includes the best filly in the land, Dancer's Daughter.

If Hot Reception produces her absolute best as she did with so much of class in her last start, there is no reason why she cannot run this classy field close on the big day. She beat the majority of her rivals in her last start race at level weights which means that a reproduction will see the top class filly going very close to winning in this Group 1 over 1200m.

She beat all of Oracle News, Soft Landing, Ethereal Lady, Rat Burana, Garden Princess, Royal Vision and Maelstrom in that race.

Other VIP runners on the big day at Scottsville include, Welsh Parade, who is running in the 1st race due to run at 11:10, the race is over 1000m, drawn 7/7 and Brandon Lerena is the jockey.

Assistant Trainer to the Brown yard, Frank Robinson comments: Welsh Parade is working very well, can expect a good race.

Hot Reception is in the SA Fillies Sprint (Gr1) which is the 7th race on the day due to run at 14:45, the race is over 1200m, drawn 8/14 and Brandon Lerena is the jockey.

"Hot Reception is as well as she was for her last race, can expect another good run from her," mentioned Robinson
