Herman Brown ready for Singapore

SINGAPORE BOUND DUO WORKING WELL

VIP's chief trainer, Herman Brown, has made huge strides in the past 3 years from his base in South Africa and Dubai and that is set to continue with another international raid in the cosmopolitan city of Singapore.

The likable Durban trainer travels his horses for a first ever raid to Singapore and represents South Africa's only hope in the big Group 1 race over 2000m.

The Singapore Airlines Cup is indeed a prestigious event and the stable will have the double pronged attack of Dubai Duty Free winner, Jay Peg and the classy dual 2008 Dubai Carnival winner, Mourilyan to represent the stable

"Both horses are really well," said Brown from his base in Dubai.

"They worked very well on the grass on Monday, going from the 1600m to finish together running the last 800m in 46sec.

"They are leaving tomorrow for Singapore," he concluded.

Brown mentioned that travelling horses is the key to winning these international events.
