THE LAW LAYS IT DOWN

VIP Thoroughbred's run of winners continued when Brandon Lerena booted home another winner for the global syndicate.

The Law turned in another impressive display after making a move at the 250m mark and leading from the 200m pole to win well.

RACE 6: NOVICE PLATE 1600M

Piranha Island (Puller) landed running. Thunder Creek (Bosch) and Hold My Jacket (Gordon) were disputing the lead. The Law (Brown) and Jurlshan (Drier) were following them by five lengths. Piranha Island was two lengths clear at the 400m mark over The Law who was making a strong run. The Law hit the front at the 200m pole and Thunder Creek put on pressure. The Law kept going well to win impressively and he looks set for bigger things. Jurlshan was second in front of Thunder Creek. The Law is by Mogok out of a Secret Prospector mare, Queen's Right. Trainer: Herman Brown. Breeder: Scott Bros. Owners: Messrs F Couturier, R Plersch and James Atkinson.
