JAY PEG PULLS UP FINE

Jay Peg disappointed the Brown stable on his return to the track at Nad Al Sheba on Thursday night.

The beautiful looking South African bred managed to finish a lowly 6th after being expected to run a decent sort of race in the main event in Dubai on Thursday. The Group 1 winner, heavily penalised for his top level wins, was all the rage in Dubai but disappointed.

"He pulled up fine and everything is good with him," said Trainer Herman Brown after the run. "He looked fit enough, he was looking great in the parade ring and we now hoping that he comes on nicely from the run," continued Brown.

"I may try him on the dirt and hopefully qualify him for the Godolphin Mile. I'll speak to the owners and plan from there," contemplated Brown.

Sushisan will be running either next week or the week after in a 1777m or 2000m respectively. He is working well and Brown expects him to be prepare him for a tilt at the Sheema Classic once again.
