RAIN IN DUBAI, RACING ON HOLD

Rain in Dubai is as rare as anything, so when it does come along, then one shouldn't complain. However, it has put a dampener on the start of the Dubai Racing Carnival where VIP Thoroughbreds has many runners due to take their place.

Rain has also thrown Dubai roads in chaos as heavy rain lashed across the UAE causing flooding in many areas. All major roads in Dubai are blocked with heavy traffic jams as office-goers are struggling to reach their destinations.

According to the weather officials more rains with thunderstorms are expected today which means that the racing is under threat and the Thursday meeting is already postponed.

The following runners have been declared to run on the Thursday card which is expected to be changed to later in the week:

CLASSY LADY- Nad Al Sheba, in the 2nd race over 1500M on the turf, drawn 7/7 with K. Latham riding.
