DIAMOND QUEST TO BROWN

Owner Rose Leheup has decided to relocate her Grade 1 winning Saumarez gelidng, Diamond Quest, to the Herman Brown yard for the 2007/2008 Dubai Racing Carnival.

Suffering a potentially career threatening injury in the Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot on the 23rd of June 2007, the gelding has come on well from his rest and is expected to join Brown's Dubai string shortly.

Leheup spelled the horse in England before deciding on his future plans. Diamond Quest is the winner of the Grade 1 Canon Gold Cup in South Africa as well as a being a winner at the 2006/2007 Dubai Racing Carnival. Diamond Quest also placed second to India's superstar, Mystical in that carnival.

The 6 year old is by Saumarez out of Discover Diamonds (AUS) by Marscay (AUS). Brown incidentally trained Discover Diamonds. She has recently foaled down to a full sibling to Diamond Quest.
